dc.description.abstractThis thesis involves the modeling, control, and study of one Megawatt from the 15 MW grid-connected PV Plant located in Souk Ahras Province, Algeria. The developed model contains all components for a double-stage grid connected PV system; these components are the PV array, boost converter, « MPPT » controller, three-phase PWM Voltage Source Inverter « VSI», LCL-filter, grid synchronization technique with a phase-locked loop « PLL» and VSI dual-loop current controller with PI regulators. Each component of the system was modeled, tested, and approved. Then the whole PV system was used to simulate different scenarios under variable weather conditions. The simulation results proved that the proposed model is reliable, efficient, and suitable for studying the grid connected PV system.
