    Application of Automation in Industry: An Innovative Solution for the Modernization of the Production Line

    In this work we proposed an Automation Solution for the stacker machine which is a part of the metallic packaging production line (20l) of EMB Skikda unit. The project focuses on the utilization of SIEMENS PLC programmable logic controllers with TIA PORTAL V16 software. It commences with an introduction of EMB, a national metallic packaging company, followed by a general overview of industrial programmable logic controllers. Subsequently, it introduces the software used and discusses programming using LADDER, finally the project ends with programming the Palletizer of the Factory I/O software.

    Automated Control System for Industrial Model with S7-1200 PLC and HMI Interface on PC

    This thesis provides the functionality of SMART MODULES SYSTEM 9 FESTech’s training system. It consists of 9 stations for Distribution, Testing, Processing, Indexing, Handling, Buffer, Assembly, Automated Warehouse, and Sorting Station. This work deals with the use of programmable logic controllers« SIEMENS PLC » through the use of software TIA Portal V16, which integrates various products SIMATIC such as Step 7, WinCC, that are used to develop an automation program for The Sorting Station via the S7 1200 controller. Additionally, an HMI (Human-Machine Interface) has been designed on a PC. This interface allows to efficiently monitor and control The Sorting Station.
